One is spurred on to try to identify the multitude of vocal techniques and devices used and is challenged by the numerous other new structural features found in these works.
From this process we can expect to obtain a considerable amount of information, both technical and ideational, related not only to the works in question, but also to other works, with similar features, in the repertoire.
